Humani-techies research group visualization of digital connections

The College of Humanities is home to a growing community of researchers who integrate computational technologies into their research and teaching. Across departments, faculty are using digital tools for textual analysis, data collection, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

The Humani-Techies Research Group brings these scholars together to support ongoing skill development and collaboration. The group provides regular opportunities to strengthen programming skills, explore new tools and frameworks, and engage with best practices in open and reproducible research.

During the Spring and Summer terms, the group meets weekly to discuss selected topics or readings. Meetings are held less frequently during the Fall and Winter semesters. In addition to structured gatherings, the group offers shared resources and a collaborative environment—helping participants stay current and connected in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
