Description:

This position is ideally suited for an advanced undergraduate student. This person will photograph Center events and edit pictures to be used in the center newsletter and online, create engaging social media content for a variety of platforms, monitor social media channels and respond to comments, analyze performance monitors, work with the Faculty and Student Fellows on Center initiatives, and help with occasional podcast production. The pay will range from $15-17/hour DOE, and the position will require 5–10 (mostly) flexible hours during the Fall and Winter semesters. The position will begin August 29th.

Required Qualifications:

  • Photography experience
  • Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of good design principles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects at once
  • Effective and polite communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Must have regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift (including Monday morning meetings and Thursday afternoon colloquia as well as any additional Humanities Center events for the week)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Design experience
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
