Experiential Humanities
Over the past two semesters, the Experiential Humanities Research Group has pursued the following questions: How does a humanities education provide unique (and uniquely valuable) training for students regardless of career choice? How can our curriculum and programming better prepare students for post-college life? What makes experiential learning distinct from classroom learning and how can we help our students make the most of it? How can we apply current research in experiential education to our study abroad and internship programs? And how do we assess the benefits of these experiences? During this colloquium, members of the Experiential Humanities Research Group will share from the research that these and other questions have generated. Please join us, Thursday, February 21st at 3:00 PM in 4010 JFSB.
Refreshments will be served.
