On October 2, Jennifer Haraguchi of the BYU French and Italian department will discuss her book project, a critical edition and translation of Montalvo’s works, for the series The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe, to be published by the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies in Toronto. Her presentation will be entitled, “Educating Rich and Poor Girls in Seventeenth-Century Florence: Eleonora Ramirez di Montalvo (1602-59), Her Lay Conservatories and Writings.”
