The Humanities Center and Faith & Imagination Institute are pleased to welcome Stephanie Paulsell, Susan Shallcross Swartz Professor of the Practice of Christian Studies, from Harvard Divinity School as this semester’s Faith and Imagination Lecturer. She will join us for a lunch discussion about her recent book Religion Around Virginia Woolf at 11:00 AM on February 16th in 4010 JFSB. If you’re interested in joining that discussion please let us know. Later that afternoon, Dr. Paulsell will give the Faith & Imagination Lecture at 3:00 PM in 4010 JFSB. We hope you will join us. About our guest:

Stephanie Paulsell is the Susan Shallcross Swartz Professor of the Practice of Christian Studies at Harvard Divinity School.  She is the author of Religion Around Virginia Woolf and co-editor of Toni Morrison’s Goodness and the Literary Imagination, with Essays on Morrison’s Moral and Religious Vision. An ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), she lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband, Kevin Madigan, where they serve as Faculty Deans of Eliot House, a residential community in Harvard College.
