In partnership with Asian Studies, Women’s studies, and Asian & Near Eastern Languages the Humanities Center will sponsor a guest lecture by Tani Barlow. Dr. Barlow is a distinguished scholar of Asian History and founding director of the Chao Center for Asian Studies at Rice University. She will give a public lecture on Monday, April 11th at 3:00 PM in the Education in Zion Theater (B192 JFSB). All faculty and students are invited to attend.
Dr. Barlow will also present for the Women Studies course specifically focused on Asia, on Tuesday April 12th from 4:00 – 5:15 PM. Interested faculty and students should contact Valerie Hegstrom for more information.
