Dr. Mary Moschella, Roger J. Squire Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Yale Divinity School will lead a workshop for faculty focusing on joy in relationships with our students and each other. The discussion will address such topics as: 1) deliberate attention to joy in the classroom as one approach to the ongoing student mental health crisis, 2) joy’s role in the informal “pastoral care” that faculty often provide for students, 3) the role of joy in faculty interactions with each other as we navigate a fraught cultural moment. This event is cosponsored by the Faculty Center.
It will be held from 3:30 – 5 pm in MSRB 250.
