This interdisciplinary symposium will investigate the relationship between poetic practice and spiritual practice, and will feature literary and religious studies scholars, theorists, and poets. Featured guests include Heather Dubrow (Fordham University), Josh Bell (Harvard University), Melissa Range (Lawrence University), Kevin Prufer (University of Houston), Peter Hawkins (Yale University), Ryan Netzley (Southern Illinois University), Owen Izenberg (UC Irvine), Mutlu Konik Blasing (Brown University), Mark Jarman (Vanderbilt University), and Constance Furley (Indiana University). The symposium is presented by the BYU College of Humanities, BYU English Department, and BYU Humanities Center.
